Mark Nixon a engineer, a strong competitor, an entrepreneur and of course the race car driver. Mark and his wife Jane Nixon share this passion and have been racing together for over 20 years. Mark started his racing career like many before him in karting, racing shifter karts in 2000 In 2003 this passion moved to bigger open wheel cars with training across various schools such as Jim Russell and Skip Barber and others.
Nixon Motorsports is your online parts supplier for bike engine racing cars. Our focus includes data acquisition, sensors, engine tuning and Map Kits, engineering and design services

- 2000 - Jim Hall karting drivers school
- 2000 - 2003: 125cc Shifter karts, various club level across northern California - numerous top 3 finishes
- 2003 - Jim Russell advanced drivers school at Sears Point
- 2004 - Skip Barber racing school at Mid Ohio
- 2004 - 2008: Toyota Atlantic's (Swift 008a, 014a), SCCA National Series
- 2005 - Skip Barber racing school at Mid Ohio
- 2005 - National Runoffs Championships @ Mid Ohio - 9th place finish
- 2006 - Skip Barber racing school at Laguna Sega
- 2006 - National Runoffs Championships @ Highland Park - 7th place finish
- 2007 - 2010: 125cc & 250cc Shifter karts IKF, road racing
- 2007 - 2010: co-Founder, CEO Motorsport Simulators, we developed and manufactured simulators for race car drivers.
- 2007 - 2008: Supported Pacific coast Champ car team for their drivers with our custom simulators
- 2008 - 2013: Custom built two Champ cars from the ground up including a complete Motec conversion - 1999 Reynard (GEN2 IRL V8 engine, methanol 700hp) and 2001 Reynard (H2 Turbo engine, 650hp), track use only.
- 2014 - EFI University engine tuning and dyno school certification
- 2014 - 2016: 125cc and 250cc shifter karts, IKF Road Racing
- 2016 - 2018: Racing in the National SCCA US Majors Series, FB Class F1000 Class (Car is a Stohr/ZX10R)
- 2017 - Runoffs Championships @Indianapolis finishing - 7th place (FB)
- 2018 - Runoffs Championships @ Sonoma Raceway finishing - 3rd place (FB)
- 2019 - Skip Barber racing school at Circuit of the Americas with their Formula 4 cars
- 2019 - present: Racing in the National SCCA US Majors Series, FA Class (Formula Atlantic) / (FB F1000 Class combined into FA end of 2018)
- 2020 - Motec engine tuning, wire harness certifications, engine building converted F1000 to 100% Motec racing in the FA class
- 2021 - Launched Nixon Motorsports online store and YouTube channel supporting and selling motorsport related products
- 2022 - Track record at Eagles Canyon Raceway 1:46.6 CCW
- 2023 - Focus on Circuit of the Americas COTA, New Eagles Canyon Raceway Record 1:45.208 CCW full track
- 2024 - Heading to Road America
